Within the mining division, our organization directs and manages very important projects, among which we have the following.
MILLOTINGO MINING PROJECT
We have been operating this project through our Branch since 2009 and it has 2.5 million Silver and Gold reserves, mainly.
The Millotingo mine is located 50 km. in a straight line from Lima – Peru, at an altitude of 4100 m.a.s.l. It is located in the Tonsuyoc ravine, district of San Mateo, Province of Huarochirí; 3 hours from the city of Lima.
We have a 350 TN processing plant for the mining operation within the Millotingo UEA.
CHARITO ECOLOGICAL PROJECT
The Charito Project is the process of the existing Millotingo tailings (tailings 1, 2 and 3), for their benefit and remediation of mining environmental liabilities.
It requires the use of a technique that is environmentally and economically viable in the current conditions of the international price of Gold and Silver and the laws contained in the tailings.
The project has all the permits and has a recognition: Diploma of Honor granted by the Ministry of the Environment of Peru to the Charito Project, an initiative presented by the company Proemina S.A.C. as initiators of the project, to the 2012 national environmental citizenship award, in the Eco-business and Bio-commerce category.
